What is Emerging Minds?

In August 2017, a carefully-curated of group of more than 160 participants and thought leaders converged on the GuideWell Innovation Center to examine the state of mental health care using design thinking and human centered design. Participants were taken through three days of exploration of business and health care insights using a unique convergent and divergent methodology to identify and prioritize opportunities for real system-level change for persons with mental health conditions.

This event served as the launching point for a nine-month immersion journey designed to identify and develop novel transformative business models, services or other strategies for mental wellness. With open collaboration at the root of the process, we’ll ultimately look to stimulate further development of solutions relevant to our identified opportunity spaces.

Now Available! The Case Study in Collaborative Innovation

Through the Emerging Minds event and subsequent journey, we challenged ourselves and our partners from across the mental health landscape to not only identify deeper insights from all perspectives, but to also bring impactful ideas to the table. This collaborative process allowed us to unearth several key focus areas and, ultimately, surface and evaluate multiple potential solutions. You can read more about our process and success stories in our case study.
